Cybo family
Ancient noble family of Genoa of Greek origin; the traditional date of the arrive of the Cybo in Genoa is 580 but the real could be considered in a period between the XI and the XII century. In 1528 the Cybo (also Cibo or Cibei) formed the 17th "Albergo" (union of noble families of Genoa). The family was represented by many branches (some living in Genoa, other in Naples).
